Shreveport is pleased to host the 74^th National Square Dance Convention® and the second held in the state of Louisiana. The first was the 20^th National Square Dance Convention® which was held in New Orleans in 1971. We are proud to continue the tradition that started with the 1^st National Square Dance Convention® held at Riverside, California in 1952.
